About Padel Rules

What is this site?

Padel Rules is an independent reference website dedicated to making official padel regulations clear and accessible to players, coaches, and enthusiasts at every level.

Whether you are a beginner trying to understand the serve rules, a club organiser checking court construction specifications, or an experienced player debating a line call with your partner — this site is built for you.

Where does the content come from?

All content is based on the official regulations published by the Federación Internacional de Pádel (FIP), the governing body of padel worldwide. FIP sets the rules for court construction, equipment specifications, scoring, and conduct that apply to all official padel competitions globally.

We aim to present these regulations in plain, readable language while staying true to the official text. Where regulations may be interpreted differently in local or national contexts, we note this.

Important disclaimer

This site is an independent reference resource and is not affiliated with FIP, WPT, APT, or any national padel federation. While we strive for accuracy, regulations can change and our content may not always reflect the very latest updates.

For official tournament play, always consult the official FIP rulebook or the regulations of the relevant governing body for your competition.

Who runs this site?

Padel Rules is operated by Upcloud Lda, a Portuguese company (NIF PT514564016).
